Finally, this fellow has a blog
About 5 years ago, when I just joined the blogging world, this fellow was not much interested, despite my persuasion.

Now, with the rather bad state of the nation and the pending threat of election fraud, and the need to deny 2/3 BN majority, HE HAS SPOKEN UP via a newly created blog.

Please visit Product of the System In his own words, he is A Malaysian by birth, a Christian by conviction, a doctor by profession, a rebel by nature, a whistle-blower by choice.

Malaysia Decides in March whether they want more LIES or do they want real CHANGE?

Things are definitely not right with the country and the present government when people like me miss the Mahathir Admnistration instead of enjoying the end of it.

In times like these, I envy my American friends over there because they can vote for someone genuinely sincere and talented like Barack Obama. Here it is Badawi, Najib and that bugger KJ.

A very big sigh.

China in weather turmoil

Is this yet another chapter of a a never-ending saga of Global Warming? This time, the workers and peasants of China, especially in the southern region are robbed of a blissful lunar new year holiday and festivities due to the morbidity and uncertainty of the current weather crisis. Of snow storms, subzero temperature and heavy downpour.

About 60 have died because of this, many injured and ill and even more frustrated and stranded. The president and the premiere is working hard, but humans can only do so much. The wrath of nature, a consequence of our own doing, is too overwhelming for human control.

This is probably another warning for us. When will we wake up? Let us pray for strength and safety of our Chinese brethren up there.

Hospital Changkat Melintang

It takes about 45 minutes for my MyVi at 80 km/h from Menglembu to reach this village hospital in Lambor Kanan. Looking from outside, it seemed like a small hospital, with few patients and everyone works at a relaxed pace. (But it is just as busy, as any other district hospitals)

But probably this is one and only hospital that is situated in the middle of the rural peninsular, and this case in the middle of rural Perak Tengah. It is indeed a village hospital in a typical Malay village. The nearest towns are Bota Kanan - 5km away, and Kampung Gajah, 20km away.

One can easily find padi fields, with bangau on kerbau and relaxed Malay kampung life. It is okay to work here, with just one major hiccup - All telcos have failed to provide good reception in the area, making it look more rural than it should be. Forget about the yellow DigiMan following you to the deep sea and the highest mountains. It is disappointing they have failed to provide decent coverage for this humble hospital area of Perak Tengah.

I encourage all fresh JMOs to consider applying to work in this hospital. Just imagine the 'adrenaline' managing pregnant mothers in labour and yellow babies on your own, armed with a terrestrial telephone line to the nearest specialists in Manjung and Ipoh. The nurses are competent and caring, and everyone from the cook to the Faber cleaner acknowledge one another. Our hospital director treat us like a caring mother, and never bossy.

It would be good to work here for one year. More than that, I will have to fall in love with this place and the people.
